Which is better social networking website and why? Myspace or Facebook?

Myspace and Facebook both have pros and cons, and as social networking sites go... it is up to the user to decide which one they feel is better.





For instance, I like Myspace's blogging capabilities more than Facebook's, but Facebook's ability to keep track of everything that my friends and I are doing is superior... so it really depends on what you are looking for.

Which is better social networking website and why? Myspace or Facebook?
I like Myspace better.


Facebook is way too private and it sucks if you don't know anyone who uses FB.

Myspace took me months to figure out how to do everything, such as modify my profile.





Facebook took me about 3 hours.





With myspace I got friend request from tons of random hookers (not joking), porn sites, student bands, local weirdo's that thougt that I looked F*ckable, etc.





With facebook I only get friend request from people i actually know. I've never needed to set my profile to private. although you can. you can also make it so that your profile is hidden, so basically people have to call you to get added.





ton's of actual decent events with facebook. Like your friends are throwing a party. here's the address here's the time. wear this. ect.





Myspace was getting too comercial. All the events I got invited to were from some ad agency that was supposed to spam as many people in a geographical area as possible.





Also facebook has one tiny ad on the left side. smaller than a paper bookmark. No flashing lights. No four ads on a page. No giant add when you login. It is very very clean looking.





Also you have to click play to hear the songs on facebook. I freaking hated when I would be using my laptop in class and all the sudden "promiscuous girl" girl started blairing because some idiot thinks the song is cool.





Finally number one reasone why facebook is better.





It started as something that was only avalible to students. Granted anybody can get on there now. But originally it was intended as a networking site for people to leave messages for other people they went to school with. Myspace from day one has been about who is the the most F*ckable person who will flirt with me right now. Facebook is not trashy at all.





As we the users of God's chosen networking site like to say; "it's weirdo free".





You should at this point ask yourself, "am I cool enough for facebook?".





PS - about two weeks after starting facebook I deleted the myspace account that I had for like 3 years.
